What we know about the next OnePlus flagship

     

OnePlus has done a great job in making OnePlus One which was a phone with high-end specs including 3 GB RAM and 3100 mAh of battery; and most importantly CyanogenMod. It proves us that phones with a good quality can be made at a good price, but the so called "renowned" companies like Apple, Samsung who have the same specs but the price just touches the sky. Plus, ultimately the public ends up buying a contract device and that's how most of phones in the USA are ruled by AT&T, Verizon and other phone carriers. 

Anyway, getting back to the OnePlus, finally we're getting updates about the next flagship which is OnePlus 2/ OnePlus Two or call it whatever. These are some of the new things they have confirmed via Google Plus (which are the specs)-

1. Rumorous RAM:

OnePlus One has a 3 GB RAM and it's just more than expected. Rumors flew up that OP2 is having a 4 GB RAM. Which is true!!! Yes, the OP2 is gonna have a huge RAM of 4 gigs. Wow, right?

2. Sweet Snapdragon?:


Qualcomm supported OnePlus One's strength by providing Snapdragon 801 chip set and it has been working pretty good with handling of huge games. What we know is that OnePlus 2 will have a Snapdragon 810. Which is great because lets see the G4; having a Snapdragon 808 its around $700. But, OP2 will have a Snapdragon 810, which is amazing.




3. USB Port:

OnePlus One has a microUSB 2.0 which is normal just like any normal android phone, but the next boss is gonna have a USB Type-C port!!! As most of you may know, USB Type-C is the best as it can transfer data at the rate of 10 GB/second. 





4. Increased Security

Yes, the OP 2 will have a fingerprint sensor/scanner..... Now it can compete with the flagships like Galaxy S6 and LG G4 and even the HTC One M9+! Before, the OnePlus didn't really have a fingerprint scanner. Many of us weren't really expecting a scanner because its a cheap phone. But, don't think that the price is very high this time because of this reason.

5. Price

OnePlus One was max around $350/- and it still is great at the price. OnePlus 2 as with the important points, we obviously conclude that it will be far better than the OnePlus, but what about the price? Folks, don't worry! They declared that the OnePlus 2 is not gonna be more than $450/- And, that's the exciting thing.

Feel free to comment on what I (may) have missed as these were the only updates I got.We are still yet to know more about the OnePlus 2 and the launch date is July 27th. So, wait until the curiosity might eat you up...
